Play. Grow. Thrive.

Focusing on Connection Before Correction, Presuming Competence, and Empowering Families Through Therapy Designed to Help Your Child Shine.

You’re here because you love your child and want the best for them.

At Jellybean Pediatric Therapy, we’re here to help you turn that love into practical strategies to help your child grow.

With a focus on occupational therapy, speech therapy, and feeding therapy, we create a safe and playful space where children thrive.

Meet Jesse Bowen, aka Jellybean

Hi, I’m Jesse, founder of Jellybean Pediatric Therapy—and someone who believes that every child has untapped potential. As a pediatric occupational therapist, I’m passionate about supporting families like yours. My goal is simple: to help you understand your child’s unique brain and body so you can champion their growth with confidence.

When I say “I play for a living” it’s because a child’s most important job is to play. And through play, children learn so many skills needed for everyday life. Let’s discover what’s possible for your family together.

Speech Therapy

Whether it’s articulating sounds, expanding vocabulary, or improving social communication, we support children in becoming effective, confident communicators.

Feeding Therapy

We help children with feeding challenges explore new foods, develop safe swallowing techniques, and build a positive relationship with mealtime.

We believe every child is beautifully unique. Our clinic is a safe space where your child’s individuality is embraced, and we celebrate their growth together.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if my child needs therapy?

If your child is struggling with daily tasks, experiencing sensory challenges, or having difficulty with communication or emotional regulation, therapy might be beneficial.

Occupational therapy can help your child achieve a more regulated state more consistently so that they can be successful in their daily environments and activities.

Speech therapy can help your child communicate their wants and needs as well as better understand what is being spoken to them. We’re here to guide you! Reach out for an evaluation, and we’ll help you assess your child’s unique needs.

The first visit is typically an evaluation that lasts 45 minutes to an hour long. The parents or caregivers will be present for this visit. We will give you a tour of our clinic, conduct a parent interview, have you complete some questionnaires and paperwork, and also evaluate your child. After the evaluation, you will receive a report from your child’s occupational therapist or speech therapist. This report will include your child’s plan of care, or goals, for our treatment. Each session after this visit will typically be 30 minutes. Our sessions are all about play and connection! We’ll work with your child in a fun, engaging environment to build skills like coordination, sensory regulation, emotional awareness, speech and language skills, and engagement in a shared world. Along the way, we’ll empower you with tools to continue supporting their progress at home.

Costs vary depending on the services your child needs. We accept BCBS, Medicaid, Tricare, United Health Care, and Private Pay. We’re happy to work with you to understand your insurance coverage and explore payment options. Transparency and accessibility are important to us.

The length of therapy depends on your child’s goals and progress. Some children benefit from short-term intervention, while others thrive with ongoing support. We’ll work with you to create a plan that fits your family’s needs.

We’re a neurodiversity-affirming clinic, which means we embrace your child’s unique abilities. Our approach focuses on building skills through play, creating a joyful experience for your child, and empowering you as their advocate and partner.
